The Solis Hybrid models are designed to work best with residential hybrid systems. They work with batteries to maximise self-consumption of your solar energy.
A standard solar inverter takes DC electricity from your solar panels and changes it into AC electricity for use in the home and national grid. A hybrid inverter still does that but also sends DC electricity to a battery for later use, and takes electricity from the battery when needed.
